Anna@Parsons 2012: Day 8

one looooong design class, was exactly what my group needed to get going at a good speed with our garment!

what we have accomplished today despite the international student meeting Juan and I had to attend:

1. Buy all the materials and fabric we need
2. tie dye our sky scarf
3. make an awsome pair of mirror sunglasses using a hot glue gun and self crushed plexi plastic...not easy!
4. make the pattern to our top and cut out fabric ready for sewing
5. make most of the pants including sewing
6. glue sand paper pieces together

Today was cool, we got to go out in the city and look through moods and home depot, and then also around to find free but interesting things we could use on our design. we found a pair of safty goggles, and some plexi glass laying around and turned it into a nice bling pair of glasses..funny how unsafe we turned those safety goggles!

we then spent the rest of the class and more tiedying, cutting, measuring, sketching, drawing, glueing, breaking, pinning and sewing..alot of fun in one day!

these are the pants, wide to thin instead of the other way round.
